Default category

Why?

Sometimes the user of the Kaiser score is not entirely certain which category of the
descriptor fits best.

Example: Choosing between the curve types “plateau” or “persistent” can sometimes
be tricky. Or: Spiculations do not always look like in the textbook; and the exact
assignment can therefore be difficult. The default category is useful for exactly this
kind of situations.

How to apply?

Very easy! Assign a category only, if you are absolutely certain. If there is any doubt,
assign the default category.

Hint!

Show the findings to your colleagues. If they are not immediately convinced of your
assessment, choose the basic category.
