Microcalcifications are particularly challenging in breast imaging. In this workshop, we provide you with our famous structured method following the “ABCD” approach.
Here are our learning objectives:
Apprehend: Detecting microcalcifications can be tricky. We will practice secure detection methods.
BI-RADS: Using BI-RADS criteria, we’ll document morphology and distribution patterns. We’ll present and practice all relevant criteria with typical cases.
Characterize: There is a lot beyond BI-RADS! We’ll explore additional clinically relevant criteria to better understand the overall picture.
Diagnose: Based on A, B, and C, we will teach you structured algorithms for optimal and safe microcalcification diagnosis.
