Dr. Naama Lev-Cohain, MD

Dr. Naama Lev-Cohain, MD, is the chief of the MRI Unit at Hadassah Medical Center, Jerusalem, Israel. She has graduated from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel, and completed her medical internship and radiology residency at Hadassah Medical Center. After a clinical and research fellowship in Body-MRI at UTSouthwestern, Dallas, Texas, she returned to Hadassah in 2014 as an abdominal radiologist specialist, was appointed chief of Body-MRI in 2020, and more recently chief of MRI.
Dr. Lev-Cohain focuses on cross-sectional imaging, concentrating on the main modalities in her field: CT and MRI. She participates and leads multiple different multi-disciplinary meetings, as well as tutors students, residents and fellows. She has participated in numerous radiological conferences both local and around the world, and is currently the head of the Israeli Abdominal Society.
In addition to her clinical work, she actively participate in research and is appointed senior lecturer at the Hebrew University. She entered the Radiology reviewer mentorship program, under the guidance of Prof. Sosna, and is currently an active reviewer for Radiology and European Radiology.
