She is an EDIR-certified, fellowship-trained (in cardiothoracic and pediatric radiology) radiologist and is currently undergoing recertification in radiology in Switzerland. She is also a clinical scientist trained at Harvard Medical School in applied statistics, research design and ethics, scientific writing and epidemiology. Since 2015, she has worked in various research groups in different countries. She is currently a member and secretary of the Young Club Committee of the European Society of Medical Imaging Informatics. Moreover, she organises a course and journal club on Open Science and Reproducible Research for Master and PhD students at University of Basel. She frequently reviews articles from leading radiology journals in Europe. One of her main interests is scientific writing and writing in general. She believes that successful publishing is also related, among other things, to writing in simple terms and as uncluttered as possible.
