Description
Dear Colleagues,
Dear Friends,
We cordially invite you to our course series Foundations of Breast Imaging.
Following the success of our premiere edition, Episode 2 has been fully restructured and features over 90 carefully curated, all new interactive clinical case discussions-spread across two compact course days.
Day 1 focuses on essential foundations and current updates in the field-perfect for newcomers, but equally valuable for more experienced colleagues who want to deepen their knowledge through case-based learning, live polling, and Q&A.
Day 2 introduces four entirely new diagnostic workshops on central topics in our field.
This course is ideal for both first-time attendees and returning participants: Each episode stands on its own, and all cases and workshop topics are newly designed-making repeat participation genuinely worthwhile.
Learn more about the series concept, target groups, and the full programme on our coursepage.
You are only able to join us for one day? Do not worry: we also provide single-day tickets!
Looking forward to welcoming you to our course soon!
Best regards,
Pascal Baltzer and Matthias Dietzel
About the Foundations of Breast Imaging Series
What can I expect?
A compact, two-day online course covering the full spectrum of breast imaging-interactive, case-based, and clinically focused.
What does “Episode” mean?
Each year brings a new Episode with fully revised content: new cases, updated lectures, and new workshops. Perfect for first-timers and returning participants.
Course Structure
Whereas the content is revised in each episode the overall structure of our course series always stays the same:
Day 1 – Foundations & Updates
Day 1 offers you a comprehensive introduction to state-of-the-art multimodal breast imaging. With focused lectures and a strong emphasis on 30+ cases discussion. You’ll refine key concepts and build diagnostic skills -step by step, across all major procedures in breast imaging. We designed day 1 both for those new to breast imaging and for experienced radiologists looking to fine-tune and update their skills.
Day 2 – Diagnostic Workshops
With Day 2, you travel deeper into the daily clinical practice of breast imaging. Through focused workshops and interactive case discussions, you’ll sharpen your skills in managing diagnostic scenarios and guiding clinical decisions. Each session blends structured input with real-world cases-helping you translate complex findings into clear, confident reporting. Whereas Day 2 is designed for advanced breast imagers, it’s also the ideal next step for beginners following Day 1-offering the opportunity to build a comprehensive, hands-on clinical skillset you can apply immediately.
Who should join?
- First-timers – no prior attendance required
- Returning participants – fresh content each year
- All experience levels – from beginners to experts
Can I book just one day?
